I accidentally rejected a comment instead of publishing it, but it said something about me being a "hypocrite" for "picking and choosing" that quote because I was "lying". It also used the incorrect "you're".
No, in this case it does not make me a hypocrite. Just because I like something that I don't necessarily agree with does not make me a liar, especially when I state the fact that I do not hold the same beliefs as what I posted. According to Dictionary.com, a hypocrite is "a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he or she does not actually possess, esp. a person whose actions belie stated beliefs. " OR "a person who feigns some desirable or publicly approved attitude, esp. one whose private life, opinions, or statements belie his or her public statements. " Neither of those statements are true. I'm not being fake. I said I am mostly Pro-Choice, which I am. I'm not pretending to be Pro-Life. I'm not lying or giving off the wrong impression that I am Pro-Life, either.
You obviously don't know me very well, because I am full of contradictions. If I were a puzzle, not all of my pieces would fit together and some would be missing. I like opposing things, I have views that don't match, and I can accept that. Maybe you should, too. This picture along with its caption (which, by the way, I did not make up. I found them both together on the internet) provide a good point. But does that point make Pro-Life people any more correct than Pro-Choice people? Nope. Did I say it did such? Nope. Perhaps you should learn a word's definition before you try calling somebody out next time. :)
